Hello friends, family and people who have stumbled across this page because linked it somewhere.

My name is Ming Chen. You might know or remember me from such things as AMC's Comic Book Men, various SModCo Network Podcasts, Tell 'em Steve-Dave's favorite punching bag or from my overuse of twitter, Facebook and/or instagram.

You may also know that I am an avid runner. I didn't really start out that way and I'm not your prototypical runner who ran cross country in high school and if you've met me you know that I'm not the usual runner type with the ultra skinny frame and the short running shorts. Running just sort of happened to me and as I kept doing it, the number of races I participated in and the distances I ran began to increase and it became sort of fun.

In the past I would run for time or to best personal goals. However this year I decided that things would be different. This year I decided to dedicate my efforts to help others. Not long after I decided this an opportunity presented itself.

I was recently approached by The Wayne Foundation to captain a team who will be running a series of marathons in an effort to raise funds for the foundation and to raise awareness about CSEC (Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children) DMST (Domestic Minor Sexual Trafficking) occurring within the United States - a cause I believe in greatly. The first event will take place at the 2014 Dicks Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon on May 4th and I am currently in training to tackle the hilly 26.2 mile run. This will be my 4th marathon.

The best way to help is via a donation to the foundation and the running team. ANY amount will be greatly appreciated and can be done anonymously or with the donation amount hidden.

To sweeten the pot, I will send all donors a SIGNED 8 x 10 glossy still from Comic Book Men. You can Donate Here or hit any one of the donate buttons on this page.

If you are near Pittsburgh you can also sign up to volunteer on our team. To do that you can Sign Up To Be A Volunteer Here

Huge thanks for reading all of this. I hope to see you in Pittsburgh or at a future race near you.
